My Genius Hour question will be:
How can I transition into becoming a vegetarian in a healthy and safe manner?
My goals for this project is to determine the safe way one can become a vegetarian. Deciding you want to become a vegetarian is the first step anyone takes before transitioning into this lifestyle. However, not many people know where to begin, in order to start their transition safely. My goal will be to educate myself and others how to become a vegetarian without harming your body.
I will measure my progress by keeping track of my findings. Through research I hope to provide an alternative route to supplements, by finding vitamin enriched foods that are especially good for vegetarians. Some individuals are scared off of becoming vegetarian because they do not want to pump their body full of supplement pills daily. However, I hope to provide these individuals with alternative ways to live this lifestyle, which will demonstrate my progress in terms of detecting different findings to the same research question.
I have not begun my research for the topic, though I am aware of the side effects that can occur due to not having the proper nutrition and vitamins you need, in order to live a healthy vegetarian lifestyle. My past experience with trying to become a vegetarian led me to living my daily life with always having this feeling of fatigue. I hope to do things differently this time around by researching the steps and important facts one must know in order to carry out this lifestyle change.
